Abstract | Copper(II) triflate catalyzes efficiently the three-component condensation of aldehydes, beta-ketoesters and ammonium acetate in acetonitrile at 25 degrees C to afford the corresponding Hantzsch 1,4-dihydropyridines in high yields. |
