| Abstract | A multiresponsive metallohydrogel based on an amino acid-derived low molecular weight (LMW) ligand and a Zn(II) salt was prepared. This hydrogel showed remarkable shape-persistent, self-standing, load-bearing and self-healing properties, which is uncommon in LMW hydrogels. |
