| Abstract | An organocatalytic enantioselective synthesis of the title compounds has been achieved. The stereogenic centers were generated by the iterative use of proline catalyzed alpha-aminoxylations and HWE olefination of aldehydes while the lactone ring was constructed by ring closing metathesis.
