Abstract | Ligand enabled Earth-abundant manganese catalyzed N-alkylation of amines with alcohols via a hydrogen auto-transfer strategy is reported. The choice of the ligand plays a significant role in the alcohol reactivity (aliphatic or aromatic) toward N-alkylation reactions. |
