| Abstract | The first enantioselective total synthesis of seimatopolide B has been achieved, using ring-closing metathesis and DCC (N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide) coupling as key steps. The stereogenic centres were generated by means of iterative hydrolytic kinetic resolution (HKR) of racemic epoxides. |
