Abstract

Utilizing bakers' yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) as a biocatalyst, synthesis of -aminophosphonates in one pot has been accomplished by the three-component reaction of an aldehyde, an amine, and diethyl phosphite in moderate to good yields under solvent-free reaction conditions.
