The reaction is highly selective for mono-arylation and tolerates sensitive and structurally diverse functionalities, such as halides, ethers, amines, indole, pyrrole and carbazole. This reaction represents the first example of a nickel-catalyzed C−H arylation by monochelate assistance and symbolizes a rare precedent in solvent-free C−H arylation. Mechanistic investigations by various controlled reactions, kinetic studies, and deuterium labeling experiments suggest that the arylation follows a single electron transfer (SET) pathway involving the turnover-limiting C−H nickelation process.</style></abstract><issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">10</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Article</style></work-type><custom3><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Foreign</style></custom3><custom4><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">7.116</style></custom4></record><record><source-app name="Biblio" version="7.x">Drupal-Biblio</source-app><ref-type>17</ref-type><contributors><authors><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Jagtap, Rahul A.</style></author><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Soni, Vineeta</style></author><author><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Punji, Benudhar</style></author></authors></contributors><titles><title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Expeditious and solvent-free nickel-catalyzed c-h arylation of arenes and indoles (vol 10, pg 2242, 2017)</style></title><secondary-title><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">ChemSusChem</style></secondary-title></titles><keywords><keyword><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Arylation</style></keyword><keyword><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">C-H activation</style></keyword><keyword><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">heterocycles</style></keyword><keyword><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Homogeneous catalysis</style></keyword><keyword><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Nickel</style></keyword></keywords><dates><year><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">2020</style></year><pub-dates><date><style  face="normal" font="default" size="100%">NOV </style></date></pub-dates></dates><volume><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">13</style></volume><pages><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">5771</style></pages><language><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">eng</style></language><issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">21</style></issue><work-type><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">Correction</style></work-type><custom3><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">&lt;p&gt;Foreign&lt;/p&gt;
