	In the present investigation, we have isolated a pneumatophore derived Aspergillus species, from the mangrove Ecosystem. Th fungus was identified based on macromorphological characteristics and further confirmed by precise molecular identification using the Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region and identified as Aspergillus niger D-5, Aspergillus sp. NIO-01 and Aspergillus stellatus sp. LM-03. These species were explored for their biologically active metabolites and indented as linoleic acid (1), ethyl linoleate (2), terrain (3), butyrolactone (4), and a new metabolite phenethyl oxopyrane (5) characterized by extensive 1D NMR (1H and 13C) and 2D NMR (HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY) analyses, high-resolution mass spectrometry, high-performance liquid chromatography, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. These species crude extract exhibited excellent antimicrobial activity, and anti-cancerous activities. We first time report, new dahejpyrone (kavapyrone analog, 5) from Aspergillus niger. Aspergillus niger D-5 extract exhibited higher inhibition to Gram positive bacteria and Candida albicans. The isolated molecules from these species need to be characterized to determine their precise biological activities. In conclusion, the land use land cover classes reveal a strong correlation of mangroves with microbial nature.&lt;/p&gt;
