Humanendothelialcellswereseededwithpro-oranti-angiogeniccompoundsonaMatrigelTMlayerina96-wellplate.Afterangiogenictubesformation,thepositivecontrolsandthetestsampleswerefixed,fluorescentlylabeled,automaticallyimagedonCellomics’ArrayScan®HCSReader,andquantitativelyanalyzedon-the-flybytheTubeFormationBioApplicationsoftwaremodule. Multiplefeaturesrelevantforangiogenesisandangiogenictubeformationwereautomaticallymeasured. Thisrobustandreliableassaythusenabledthelarge-scale,quantitative,screeningandcharacterizationofcompoundsaffectingbothpro-andanti-angiogenicpathways.&lt;/p&gt;</style></abstract></record></records></xml>
